Heart of England Nordic Walking offers taster sessions, Learn to Nordic Walk courses and regular walks in and around the Solihull area. The aim is to be as inclusive as possible, so whatever your age, fitness level or goal there will always be an activity to suit.
Nordic walking is a fantastic enhancement of normal walking, is gentle on the joints and easy to learn and always done in beautiful surroundings. It has huge physical and mental health benefits and is always fun and sociable!

I have enjoyed long walks in the countryside for years but always felt there could be more to it. Nordic Walking ticks all the boxes – a good walk with a workout thrown in and the chance to share great views, birdsong and a little bit of chatting. I find it gives me time to unwind my mind and recharge my batteries, while I am improving my fitness. I like the social aspect of walking in a group and the extra encouragement that gives me, as walking on my own gets boring. I am looking forward to exploring new walks around our area as well as revisiting the old favourites and enjoying the company along the way.
